Another Activision Title Moves to Atari
Another chapter opens for The Chronicles of Riddick
First Ghostbusters moved (or was kicked) from Activision/Blizzard but found a home with Atari. Then Mr Half-a-Dollar made his way from Activision/Blizzard to THQ. Now that nice Mr Riddick is taking his chronicles from Activision/Blizzard over to Atari.
Yes, The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena becomes part of the 2009 Atari roster. And it's not coming in the form that you would have got from ActiBlizz. At least not according to Atari. The Starbreeze Studio-developed title was "previously announced as a remake of hit title The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay with added content".
Not some old remake for Atari though, the company is 'revealing' that its version of the game, "contains a brand new full-length campaign."
Expect to see it in Spring of 2009 on PS3 and Xbox 360 (unless there is a new Xbox by then... we're saying nothing).
