Motorstorm Pacific Rift get its US servers and launches on today (for some reason, we get it on November 7th - giving the Americans a chance to get up to speed?). That's not concerning developer, Evolution Studios too much though. It's more concerned with getting the downloadable content (DLC) ready for after Xmas.
Yup, according to Nigel Kershaw (game director) writing in the
US PlayStation blog:
"Once were all rested its back to the development bunker to finish off the DLC we have lined up for you guys in the coming months.
We’ve got a pile of stuff waiting in the wings, and, you’ll be glad to know, a lot of it is free. We’re going to try and give you something new to play with every week, and we’ve also got some major packs in development that should be on the store after Christmas."
(Our bolding)
Kershaw is - of course - not actually going into detail about how much "a lot" is or what exactly it will be. We'd hope for new cars, several new tracks and some racy driver chicks.
Our reviewer wouldn't want much to add to one his favourite games ever...
