In the lead up to the
September release of Rock Band 2 in Europe, MTV and EA have announced a price cut for the
Rock Band Instrument Edition on the Xbox 360.
Phew, given that the
damned thing cost an arm, a leg and the torso of a Def Leppard drummer when it was originally released in April, it's about time.
The price, we're informed drops from £129 (€158) to £109.99 (€135) in the United Kingdom for the Xbox 360, PS3, PS2 and Wii full instrument versions. It drops to €139.99 (£113) in Europe.
Release dates for the latter three versions are: UK the week of September 8th (
as we said last week). France the week of September 15th. Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Sweden, Belgium, Netherlands, Austria and Luxembourg the week of September 22nd. Spain the week commencing September 29th. If you've got a PS3 or a 360, you'll get the full US listing plus the tunes listed below. If you've got a Wii or PS2, you'll get
the ones listed at this link.)
