Dead Space Release Slips... Forward!
Electronic Arts has said that it is moving the release of Dead Space. Forward!

The game will now be released on October 24th for the PS3 and Xbox 360, a week earlier than the previously planned release date of October 31st - Halloween. The PC version will still hit shop shelves in the last gasp of October.

According to EA, "The decision to bring it to fans earlier was due to completing the game early. Having spent months of polishing, it will soon be ready to scare gamers across the UK."

SPOnG is glad, for once, to be able to report news of a game's release moving forward. Frankly, it ought to have been finished in a timely manner. SPOnG was recently told by comics guru and Dead Space writer, Warren Ellis, "I did that work two years ago". Hooray for efficient production pipelines!
