Olympics Avoided as FIFA 09 Takes the Field
Are you bored of people swimming backwards and forwards in straight lines yet? If so, SPOnG has just the thing to cure your sense of Olympics tedium. FIFA 09 has been caught on film. SPOnG has the goods.

The footage was supposedly grabbed by the chaps at FIFA Soccer Blog and shows off Italy going at it with France in as heterosexual a manner as footballers can. Although it hasn't been said explicitly, it's pretty safe to say this is from the PS3, Xbox 360 or PC version of the game.

For the PS3 and 360 versions EA promises, "New animation technology creates more responsive first-time shooting and passing, faster and more controlled dribbling, and improved trapping. New player momentum physics, which exploits the power of these platform engines, delivers realistic player collisions, authentic jostling for the ball, and more variation in tackling." You can have a look for yourself to see if you reckon EA's delivering.

FIFA 09 is aimed at an Autumn release on... everything. Surprise!

Because he signed for AC Milan after the game was finalised?

Or because there is a huge, huge anti-AC Milan conspiracy?

It's Occam's Razor time!

Cheers
