Sega of Japan has withdrawn Segagaga, the management simulator that puts you in charge of Sega Worldwide as the company’s Chief Executive Officer.
The Dreamcast game was found to contain a character called Adult Children, which in Japan means parents or relatives that abuse drugs or alcohol.
It is unknown how this slip happened, but a disgruntled employee is the most likely source.
Sega has withdrawn the game temporarily and will rename the character. The company has also published a public apology on its Japanese website.
