Virtual Console has a right rollicking journey for you this week. If you've got 1,400 Wii Points to rub together, you can journey from the depths of your subconscious to the distant reaches of space. Bargain!

So, first up we have Super Turrican - the space portion of your journey - with this version having been originally put out on the SNES (in 1995 over here) by Factor 5. You've got a spot of platform shooterage, a dash of space exploration and whole heap of action. Nintendo also tells us it has a "superb soundtrack". Take Nintendo's taste in music how you will. The SNES version also featured content not found in other ports of the game, so you're getting plenty of bang for your... point. Super Turrican can be yours for 800 Wii Points.

Next up (and on a somewhat more intimate scale) we've got Psychosis. Originally released on the Turbografx in 1990, this side-scrolling shooter gets players to take a blast through their own brains to combat their inner demons. It all sounds a bit painful, but some folk like that sort of thing. It's all yours for 600 Wii Points.

This week's releases bring the grand Virtual Console total up to 193. Not long 'til the 200 mark now...
