There are strong rumours coming from Japan that there is a brand new Akira movie in production as we speak.
The studio named is that of new PlayStation 2 developers AIA and it is said that the game is scheduled to release alongside the equally rumoured live action Akira movie.
Surely if any film deserves a decent game it’s Akira (and The Terminator but that’s another story.) The last time the seminal Anime flick made it into the realms of interactive entertainment was the awful Amiga game from ICE.
