Codemasters and Turbine have let new details of their upcoming free update for Lord of the Rings Online fly like a swiftly-plucked arrow from Orlando Bloom's quiver.
So, what have we got? More customisation options, for one. We've got the "Outfit system which features new gear and options to let players truly customize their hero’s appearance without impacting the stats of their armor", Codies tells us. Additionally, you'll be able to visit... the barbers! 50 new hairstyles are up for grabs. The housing system, introduced in Book 11 - the previous update - has also been enhanced to offer greater customisation of your abode.
Codies has also included 'The Delving of Frór', a further step for Monster Play, which was also introduced in Book 11. A new dungeon has been brought in that "implements 12-player raid mechanics into a dynamic player-vs-player (PvP) environment."
