Rockstar's
Grand Theft Auto IV website - previously just a teaser - has received a massive overhaul and gone (in Rockstar's words) "official", bringing with it a veritable deluge of screens and media.
"Liberty City - Where the American Dream goes to die", the opening screen menacingly tells us. The American dream might die there, but if you have any interest in the upcoming blockbuster, you're going to find it positively delightful.
You'll find downloadable goodies such as screensavers and wallpapers, a news section and tonnes of new screens and videos. SPOnG's grabbed you a selection (well,
all the videos, we couldn't help ourselves) to peruse below, but we suggest that you head over to the
site for more.
There are also a tantalising couple of sections on the website still being held back. Scrolling over the headers 'multiplayer' and 'music' will reveal the cruel promise, "coming soon".
GTA IV, if you've been trapped in a cave since Christmas, is set for release on April 29th. Microsoft, apparently,
already owns the launch...
