GTA IV: New Teaser Packaging Art Right Here

Girl enjoys lollipop videogames shocker!

We just got our grubby mitts on some new dummy packaging for Rockstar's upcoming super-mega blockbuster Grand Theft Auto IV and it would have felt remiss not to share it with you.

Unfortunately, Andy SPOnG did not share the rest of the SPOnG Underwater Castle's enthusiasm. "Grand Theft Auto - an acceleration in gaming quality, or flogging a dead horse?" he was forced to ask. It should be borne in mind that Andy is a long-suffering sequelphobic and cannot always be held responsible for his words.

You can catch SPOnG's latest preview of GTA IV here. Cast your eyes downwards to see the good stuff.

Oh dear, Andy. OH DEAR. While the old cynic in me can appreciate your sceptical outlook... this is GTA. Surely there is no need for concern? It's not like a FIFA sequel where the changes are only cosmetic. This is GTA...every game in the series has been worthy. Even the semi-sequel-'Stories'-spin-offs have been well worth the money I paid for 'em.

Oh no, now I'm starting to have doubts. Stoppit, Andy! Quick, someone send him off to Rockstar North to have a play on it.

Bentley, I feel I owe you and fans of the GTA series an explanation. It's a question of interpretation. My tongue was lodged firmly in cheek when i spouted forth on the next GTA game. YOU would have heard, "Unng mmmf mmmnnns tfff umm unnnggg eeehhhh. Gnnng ffffhhhh mmfff durrrr eeeem nnng ffff eek ssssss". Mr Wonderful, the fella what wrote the story, was doing his duty by translating, almost Famitsu-like, my muffled outburst. I've nowt against GTA at all. In fact, i am quite looking forward to the sensory overload that comes with watching config play the bugger!

I am also wearing a polo neck shirt today. Yesterday I was wearing a turtle neck sweater (relax ladies, i'm spoken for). Kind of a sequel, eh Mark? Today follows yesterday, i'm still here, smiling away. No symptoms of sequelitis there...

Would you like a biscuit?

Unfortunaly Spong, is a couple of months late about this news, because these have been appearing in Game shops in the UK for months, and there are a couple of pictures about it all over the internet, but these are actually High Res pics so its all good.
