Atari has just released new footage for
Alone in the Dark, getting SPOnG crawling for the back of the old console cupboard in the process. We're sharing the terror below.
Yes,
Alone in the Dark is looking suitably atmospheric at this stage. All kinds of lighting spookiness has been brought into play to make Central Park several kinds of eerie.
Then there's the score - musical that is; we've not seen the game yet so we can't give it a review score. Here at SPOnG we think we like it (music), but we're not altogether convinced that a couple more minutes of it wouldn't lead us to drive someone's head through our monitors.
Anyway, the result is a video that builds a nice sense of bone-chilling terror. At least it does if you're watching it from an underwater castle in January as SPOnG is. We would probably recommend your home or, better yet, your work desk...
