Like dinosaurs? Like shooting stuff? Want to combine the two? Yeah, SPOnG does too. Which is why, when these new screens for Disney's upcoming Turok outing came our way, we decided to share them.
Turok promises to dump players - in the role of Special Forces hard man Joseph Turok - on a "genetically-altered planet". SPOnG's not sure how you genetically alter an entire planet, so we're going to assume that genetic alteration is how a bunch of long-extinct lizards from Earth wound up on another planet. The best bit? It's in the "near" future! If we can just stay alive long enough, we might get to take a pop at those dinos ourselves...

I hope this turns out to be good, as I'm yet to be convinced about guns and dinosaurs. If you aren't hunting them, what's the point of dinos being in the game? Cue Dino Crisis as a good example. By all means prove me wrong, Turok developers.
Turok suffers from having to have dumb dinos in it. The only real exeption to that rule was Turok 2 on N64, where they'd evolved a bit more, actually giving a fighting challenge.
If this new cut has such intelligent dinos in it, I might try it, otherwise, I'm still yet to be convinced by the whole Turok license as really viable.
