Happy news for PlayStation 3 owners today: it looks like a sequel to Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is on the way.
Asked in an interview with French site LCI whether the conclusion of the first Uncharted brought a sense of sadness, Christophe Balestra, co-president of Naughty Dog had this to say (as translated by SPOnG's resident French speaker - thanks Tiana!).
Needless to say, further details were not forthcoming. The news brought warmth SPOnG's frozen toes nonetheless.

"I think that the game is quite deep story-wise, which Europe may like. And we're soon going to start the sequel. We therefore need to take a step back and take a new look/perspective at the game to see in which direction we're going to drag/push it. But the atmosphere is there, it is rich... So, there is a potential for a new great title. Even better."

If it wasn't for the ending, this would have been hands down my GOTY. Regardless, it's still an absolute masterpiece and an incredible journey that I'm still loving on my second play through. One of the best looking games (if not THE best) and the news of a sequel has made my day! Those with a PS3, don't miss this game - I can't be any clearer than that.
