Ninja Gaiden 2 Exhausts The Masses

Knackering video inside

Posted by Staff
Microsoft has sent a new Ninja Gaiden 2 video and a handful of screens out into the world so the world can do its bloody thing. SPOnG's got the full, epic, button-mashing slash-fest below.

Frankly, we're exhausted just watching it. SPOnG would dearly like to know what sports drink/coffee brand/performance enhancing drug Ryu's using, because we struggle get out of bed on a morning - let alone going on the kind of epic killing spree he's partaking in below.

If it looks familiar, that's because the trailer expands on the gameplay Microsoft showed off a couple of weeks ago. In fact, 'expands' barely does it justice. SPOnG accepts no responsibility if your eyes start bleeding.

You can find out more about Ninja Gaiden 2 on SPOnG's dedicated game page.

Its games like this that make you excited owning a 360, am very glad Team Ninja are giving full support to the 360 platform and Ninja Gaiden 2 being a 360 ONLY title at that - awesome game and visuals and being locked at 60fps!! Woot!

This game is gonna be a huge hit in Japan thats for sure.

to be honest i never got into these kinda games, to me they are kinda repetitive and dare i say it, slightly boring. i know its not the same as playing it, but a minute into this footage, and i was watching the clock.

ANY game is repetitive, racing games are repetitive, shooting games are repetitve hell even f**king Mario is repetitive!

All games are repetitive as the outcome is for you to achieve the goal of completion which usually lands you doing the same thing over and over.

Put it like this in GTA you either drive run/walk and shoot you will find that you continually have to do those things to carry out your objectives or missions.

Now if you have a game where you ONLY do 1 thing thats also repetitive, I think the word repetitive is used incorrectly in this case.

So by you saying NG2 is repetitive then I am sure every game you have is the same case and therefore you are not a gamer at all.

@Tim wtf?

I have a solution - I will cease quoting you.

Who gives a #$%. How many times can a company release the same game and idiotic gamers keep buying it up. The game was mediocre to begin with.

hmm it's only the most fluid, responsive and skillful fighting game ever, as the title said it's not really for the masses, go back to playing Need for Speed or some other massed whored cheap game made for morons.

this is the first Ninja gaiden game released on 360 and there was only 1 released on xbox 1 so what the hell are u on about.

notice you take something non aggressive, and take it personally.

if you say mario is repetitive, you clearly havent played mario galaxy, almost every level has a new idea in it that turns the game on its head. sometimes literally.

of course games have repetition, but i was just saying that after 30 seconds, it seems like its already samey... is all, just an opinion, im sorry i forgot people arent allowed those.

just cos this is one of the games that you constantly name drop into posts to state how awesomely awesome the xbox is/will be, doesnt mean you have to get your knickers is a twist.

and you know what, you probably play loads more games than me, sure, i dont play al that much, i like what i like, i try new things every now and then, i stay away from a hell of a lot, and get this, i even had a xbox 360 for all of about 5 months then sold it. yeah, sold it. for a ps3, which i rarely play. i never say "im a gamer" generally dont classify myself. im just a guy that sometimes plays/reads about games. so your "youre probably not a gamer" is hardly insulting.

just thought id say

just re read this "So by you saying NG2 is repetitive then I am sure every game you have is the same case and therefore you are not a gamer at all."

and realised it didnt really make sense...

erm, because i have repetitive games, im not a gamer? surely by not playing games at all, i'd not be a gamer.. if i was so inclined to refer to myself as one that is.

i really dont remember much hostilities before this guy showed up.

just chillax guy.

I'll admit I'm tempted to get a 360 when this comes out,but I think i'll wait til i've finished sigma (by which time it'll probably have been remade twice with one on a Playstation)
