Burnout Paradise Soundtrack Revealed
Electronic Arts - as it is wont to do when it has a big franchise game coming out - has dished up the track list for the soundtrack for its upcoming racer, Burnout Paradise.

Having looked over the list, SPOnG is pleased to award its most obvious soundtrack choice in the world ever in the history to... Paradise City from Guns N' Roses.

Our (well, Mark SPOnG's) award for most offensive soundtrack choice of the year gets nabbed by Girlfriend from Avril Lavigne. Meanwhile, the list has reminded us once again to take off our hats to Killswitch Engage for choosing such a gosh-darned exciting band name.

SPOnG's got a lot of love for Burnout Paradise. Lest you don't believe us, read our demo review here. You can see the list in full below.

Woah down there! What is wrong with Adam & the Ants' Stand and Deliver?

Da-da-dumpy-dumpy-dumpy dumpy-dumpy-dumpy dumpy (repeat to coda)...

Cheers

It's poo. Big dribbley running down your legs squitsy poo.

Whah-didley-qwua-qwau.

And among that tracklist, it stands out (along with Twisted Sister) like a sore thumb. An eighties anachronism, and not a classic one like Dinosaur Jr's Freakscene, but a piss poor one.

I must be on drugs as, for some reason not to do with drugs, I was confusing it with Kings of the Wild Frontier anyway.

Embarrassingly

Kings of the Wild Frontier, that's a good sing. Stand and Deliver represents the start of Adamants long and steep slide into ignominy.

Will the PS3 version have a custom soundtrack option? That N.E.R.D remix was used on the first SSX games FFS! Props for LCD and Junkie XL though. More dance would have been nice y'know.
