Koei informs us today that the PS3 and 360 versions of
Dynasty Warriors 6 will be with us next March, apparently "bulging with new tricks".
According to the company, the game will do nothing less than create a "truly cinematic kung-fu action experience"; in fact, "Celebrated characters have been completely re-imagined with new weapons and fighting techniques motion-captured from some of today’s leading stuntmen and women in Asia".
SPOnG hopes that this is not mere PR hyperbole, as the series has become a little ‘samey’ in recent years. So, if it doesn't re-imagine or it doesn't deliver 'truly' cinematically... and if the series is still samey, it's a big vote in the PRBS index for 2007. Koei, you have been warned - and remember we're still smarting from
Assassin's Creed and the
attached hype around that.
