Have you beaten Halo 3 to a bloody pulp yet? Are you looking for some new maps to get stuck into? Good news for you today then, with the announcement of not one, but two sets of new Halo 3 maps on the way.
The first bunch of three maps: Standoff, Rat's Nest and Foundry, is due on December 11th priced at 800 Microsoft points (£6.80 in Earth money).
Microsoft describes the three maps thusly, "Standoff's symmetrical valley, with its entrenched bases and fields of boulders is ideal for mid-sized objective and Slayer game types…Rat's Nest is an indoor vehicle paradise, strongly influenced by the Campaign mode, ideal for big team battles… Foundry is the ultimate Forge map, players can edit every single object in this voluminous industrial warehouse, place stairways, walls, bridges and tunnels to create an entirely new play space and build almost any kind of map they can think of".
A second map pack Halo 3 will launch in Spring 2008, with no details on that right now. As soon as we get the details, we’ll direct them right into your eyes.
