Assassin’s Creed – Futuristic Story Twist Detailed Inside

Huge great spoiler alert!

Posted by Staff
Assassin’s Creed has a clever narrative twist. We all know this. We've all speculated about how it is something to do with the medieval setting actually having something to do with a sci-fi type future. Or something.

We have all read about and heard and (the luckier ones) questioned at close range the attractive Jade Raymond, producer of Ubisoft’s next magnum opus, as with a (sexy, suggestive) sigh, she gives yet another ‘no comment’ about the twist in the story.

Well, the game is nearly here, so only a few more weeks to wait...

BUT: if you really want to know about the twist, it is apparently revealed in the first few minutes of the game’s tutorial. If you REALLY cannot wait any longer to find out more, then you might want to have a read of the Assassin’s Creed comic which you will get with the game, that outlines it all in more detail.

You can see that right here. Naturally, spoilers abound.

I'm so, so dubious about this concept. I'd have preferred a fairly accurate representation of the time rather than see people flickering in and out of reality, which I fear will destroy the atmosphere the lush environments could have created.
I have been concerned for a while that Assassin's Creed is going to be one of the first big let-downs of the "next" generation. It takes more than a sexy producer to make me buy a game. And she is well sexy. Maybe instead of the comic they should just include a portfolio of Jade Raymond in increasingly revealing poses. Is that wrong? Really? Yeah, probably. Sorry. But I'd be more inclined to take a look at that than some graphic novel about a guy in a hoodie. Am I supposed to relate to hoodie-guy, or something? What did it say his name was? Desmond? And in a white hoodie? I am instantly put off by the prospect of playing as a chav called Desmond.

Sheeeeeesh, way to kill all the coolness potential in one move. This "clever narrative twist" is more like a twist to the plums of what could have been an amazing game. Ah, time will tell, but I know I am put off quite a bit. It's been Ubishafted.

Yeah Bentley i bet its like paying Ecco the Dolphine all those sea enviroments were great then towards the end you were thrust onto a alien space ship caves (that ruined the end of the game for me) or maybe its not??

Also todays hoodies are tommorrows future!! My god help us all!!!
