Mario & Sonic At The Olympic Games: Jumpy New Video
SEGA has once again turned on the PR tap for its upcoming Greedmas blockbuster, Mario & Sonic At The Olympic Games, and SPOnG has the video output below.

Actually, the video has all the hallmarks of a slightly tired piece of Nintendo marketing. Four young, vaguely well off people who are attractive enough to be easy on the eye - but not enough to be intimidating - dressed in bland clothing straight out of Gap, having a bit of a dance while waving Wii controllers around? Check. Token piece of gameplay footage? Check. Slightly annoying piece of music in the background? Well, we have listened to it upwards of 20 times now, so maybe we're not in the best position to judge...

Our resident Aussie informs us, however, that in the lead up to the 2000 Sydney Olympics everybody was bored shitless with the continuous (yes, we mean that) build-up using tired images interspersed with scary, healthy, shiny, cyber-looking people - but that the games themselves were, 'ripper' - especially the beach volleyball down at Bondi". Let's hope the same sentiments can be used after S.A.M.A.T.O.G hits the shops.

SEGA also just released some new details about the game's control system. You can read all about it here. When you're done, head over to SPOnG's dedicated Mario & Sonic page for more information.
