Opinion in the SPOnG office is already divided on SEGA’s forthcoming update of ‘classic’
NiGHTS for Wii, which we’ve just received the latest bunch of art and screens on.
Svend is already coo-ing favourable things about the game, having been lucky enough to get a little bit of hands-on time with
NiGHTS at TGS last month.
“I’m glad to report that it is a perfectly executed update of one of the greatest SEGA games of all time,” he informed us. “It’s immediately up there with my most-wanted Wii games for early 2008,” he added.
Adam is not so convinced by
NiGHTS, though admittedly has yet to play the Wii version and was never particularly a fan of the original in the first place, commenting, “It’s a fanboy title, it was over-rated on the Saturn back in the day and it will be over-rated by the SEGA fanboy hardcore this time around. And it won’t sell. It’s a folly.”
Well, we’ll see when
Nights: Journey Into Dreams releases on Wii early next year. Head over to the game page for more new screens.
