RACE 07 - The official World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) game is set to be released on 13th October for PC, published by Atari. So here's a bunch of the latest screen-shots to whet the appetites of PC racing fans.
RACE 07is one to appeal to the hardcore motorsports fan as it features the full 2007 and 2006 seasons of the WTCC, the historic WTCC'87 class, Formula 3000, Formula BMW, the Mini Cooper Challenge, the Radical SR3 and SR4 (in various configurations), as well as the Caterham CSR200, CSR260 and CSR320 Concept.
This hardcore racer also features a helmet camera that - we're told (how can we say, we've never been in one) accurately resembles the view from inside... a helmet; there are also realistic 'visor dynamics', so your driver's visor gets dirty and can be cleaned by tearing a protective layer of plastic (known as the 'tear-off')...off.
It really is hard to know exactly just how more realistic driving games can possibly get!
RACE 07 also features 32 different tracks and variations from all over the world, including legendary tracks such as Monza, Zandvoort, Brands Hatch and Imola, in addition to fully detailed online World Championship functionality with rankings and leader boards.
