Halo 3 is set to generate something in the region of $170 million (£85 million) in revenue during Microsoft's first financial quarter according to analysts at bankers Goldman Sachs. The analysts predict that Microsoft will have shipped a total of 4.2 million copies of
Halo 3 by the end of September.
This could mark the first foray of the Entertainment & Devices Division Xbox division, in which items such as Xbox and Zune sit, out of the red and into the world of profit. The division has yet to make a penny, since the original release of the Xbox way back earlier this century.
