To get a bit of pre-Tokyo Games Show momentum, SEGA has revealed that
NiGHTS: Jouney of Dreams, its upcoming Wii-exclusive, "will feature a two-player mode and network support at launch."
Details are sparse, but SEGA has confirmed that there will be several multi-player modes, some of which will use the Wii's online functionality and some of which will be localised. The only mode that has been named (thanks to the game's Japanese website) is "duel" mode - which apparently will be networked - with the name suggesting competitive rather than co-operative play.
SEGA also plans to bring back
NiGHTS' Artificial Life (A-Life) feature, which allows players to capture, raise and combine creatures from around the world of Nightopia.
Expect more details on two-player and A-Life in
NiGHTS as TGS gets into full swing. In the meantime, you cna find out more on SPOnG's
dedicated game page.
