Joining
Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo on Xbox Live Arcade today is a surprise extra:
Streets of Rage 2.
If your memory doesn't stretch back to the time before games on round shiny discs,
Streets of Rage 2 was originally a release from SEGA for the MegaDrive back in 1993. It's all about side-scrolling beat-'em-up action, complete with four players on screen, a new burly wrestler-type named Max and a dash of in-line skating (remember that?).
Whether this is a genuine surprise thrown out by Microsoft to delight us, a mistaken press of a button or an oversight by the company's guys down in PR and marketing is unclear.
On offer in this HD makeover is a visual touch up and both local and online multi-player for you and a pal. It's all yours for 400 Microsoft Points.
