Virtual Console - Galaga '90, Volleyball, Breath of Fire II
This week on Wii’s Virtual Console Nintendo is spoiling us with Breath of Fire II (pictured), Galaga '90 and Volleyball for the NES.

Breath of Fire II was originally released on SNES in 1996 and is described to us as “a game of friendship, heroics, rivalries and combat in a role-playing format.” It’s a classic Japanese heroic quest where you play Ryu, who sets off to rescue his sister battling mighty dragons and other foes with his brave band of followers along the way and will set you back 800 Wii Points, which in normal terms equates to around six of your English pounds.

Volleyball was originally released in 1987 on the NES and gives you eight male or female teams to select from featuring “lobs, attacks and daring dives” and will set you back 500 Wii points (£3.75)

Finally, the update of the arcade classic Galaga '90 will tax you for 600 Wii Points (£4.50). Which is around the price of a fish supper.
