Lexicon Entertainment has just sent word that it is set to publish 07 Commando for Nintendo DS in Europe early next year (see the first screens right here).
07 Commando is described as a “slick, 2D, side-scrolling, action shooter” – this immediately piqued our interest and is being developed by Mana Computer Software over in China. You may remember China, it’s a large country on the other side of the world who’s government used to be communist and practise despicable human rights abuses on its citizens. It doesn't do this any longer and, therefore, we are all friends in global capital.
Back to 07 Commando, players will assume the role of ‘Storm’, who shoots, jumps, rolls and throws things about as he battles against arch-enemy hoodlum organization ‘Rattlesnake’ and its henchmen.
It seems that Rattlesnake has instigated the conflict by utilizing heavy weaponry to gain control of the world but ‘Storm’s mission is to scupper this.
07 Commando promises shocking boss battles, loads of types of weapons and pick-up items, tons of missions as well as a bunch of mini games, all played on the touch screen.
