Fury is a fast paced online RPG built from the Unreal Engine 3 that focuses on players battling each other in furious player-vs-player battles.
Speaking about the announcement, David Solari, vice president and general manager of Codemasters Online Gaming declared:
"We believe this unique and groundbreaking product will appeal to MMO and action shooter gamers alike. It's going to drive forward the online persistent market with Fury's new style of free-to-play, instant online action".
The game is set for release in the EU around about autumn and Auran is saying that it will, "revolutionise online competitive gaming".
We love ground-breaking revolutions, especially when they can be leveraged, 24/7 to ensure game-play synergies going forward. We'll tell you how revo-ground-a-lutionary the game is as soon as we play it.
