ADV Films Tackles Transformers Fatigue

Anime robots to ease your pain

Posted by Staff
For the giant robot fans sitting in the SPOnG offices, the last couple of months have been an endless barrage of frenzied Transformers anticipation and, dare we say it, they're at risk of suffering Transformers burnout. Don't get us wrong, we love those crazy 'Robots in Disguise', but maybe our collective robot palate needs cleansing.

ADV Films, one of the suppliers of the Xbox 360's video-on-demand content, reckons it has a solution. To ready us for Friday's release of Transformers: The Game and the movie release next week, it's just released the MechaRobots anime box set.

The set bundles together Full Metal Panic Vol. 1 (Mecha pilot in high school), RahXephon vol. 1 (youngster with a pet robot super weapon) and Dai-Guard vol.1 (robots facing corporate problems such as cutbacks, the risk of using the lowest bidder and blue sky thinking).

You can get your pre-Transformers jollies for £19.99 right over here from July 23rd.

Dude, they're called ADV or AD Vision, not ADTV. Study that logo carefully now.
