Super Mario Galaxy isn't the only AAA first-party Wii game to
get a date today,
Metroid Prime 3 Corruption has joined the party!
October 26th is when we Europeans (the Americans get it on August 27th) will be able to take up our Wii Remotes in a quest for motion-controlled shooty glory. Alas, there is scope for a touch of bitterness since we'll be getting the game two months after our pals over the pond.
It has also been confirmed once and for all that
Corruption will not allow us to play against our pals over the pond when we do get it over here. As SPOnG
told you earlier in the month,
Corruption will not feature online play. Nintendo's E3 factsheet states, in no uncertain terms, "Players: 1". You can read all the gameplay details from the factsheet
here.For more on
Corruption cast your eyes over SPOnG's
dedicated game page.
