Evil Jesus is coming

Ubisoft has announced that its RPG, Dark Messiah of Might and Magic is making its way to the 360 in the form of Elements.

The new iteration is being developed for the 360 by Ubisoft's Annecy studio, the team behind the multiplayer modes in Ubisoft's Splinter Cell series. The team will be supported by Arkane, which developed the PC version of the game and Valve, which is supplying its Source engine for the endeavour.

Annency's promising additional material for the 360 version, with new multiplayer maps; existing maps have apparently been “remastered for an optimal Xbox LIVE experience”. Daniel Palix, the game's producer, is also promising new single-player material, saying:

“On the solo part, new scenes have been added, thus providing an additional hour of game experience. These will be “epic” optional zones, offering a bit more challenge and different gameplay than the rest of the game and granting special rewards.”

You can read a Q&A with Palix here.
