Atari has confirmed that it will post a $71.3m (£35.4m) loss for the financial year ending March 31st.
That total equates to $5.29 per share and comes in £1.2 million more than last year's $69m (£34.2) loss.
The figure comes after a delay in posting the results following Atari's admission that it needed to calculate a
goodwill impairment charge. The figure posted now exactly matches Atari's earlier estimate.
If Atari did not have to include the goodwill impairment charge in its losses, the figure would be down at $17.2m (£8.52m).
Ah well, at least Atari has its new
equestrian license coming up to boost sales...
