SPOnG is a big fan of Oxygen’s forthcoming kerr-azy golf game
King of Clubs, particularly the Wii version, which we’re looking forward to getting our hands on when it comes out in August.
With
King of Clubs, Oxygen Interactive has hit on the idea of taking the sport of mini/crazy golf, injecting it with some quirkily skewed and wackily warped 1950s Americana (Gene Vincent, anybody?). There really is only one question – why didn’t anybody think of this before? Sure, there has been a handful of crazy golf-themed videogames in the past, but never anything to set the world alight (though the mini-golf mini-games in
Super Monkey Ball came close…).

King of Clubs preview to find out more.
You can check the videos below to see why we’re enamoured with this bonkers little game. On show is the fat-but-fun-Elvis-impersonator, Big Bubba King, owner of Big Bubba’s Burger Bar and Truck Stop, where
King of Clubs is based.
