While we still await confirmation on a Euro/UK release date for the Wii’s forthcoming Donkey Jet, it’s good to see a few new details and a trailer pop up on the game’s Japanese website.
Donkey Jet, in case you had forgotten, was originally pencilled in as a Gamecube-game (controlled by the classic GameCube bongos) and is now down as the Wii’s DK-themed racer, that involves shaking your Wii Remote and Nunchuk like the clappers to make DK fly faster around the course, assisted by rocket-propelled bongos.
If you think it sounds bonkers then you are right. The game is set to feature 16 well-known characters from the Donkey Kong series – check out the pics and the trailer on the official Japanese website.
And if you are fluent in Japanese can you please translate it for us!
