Activision Confirms Doom in Game Boy Advance Line-up
Activision has confirmed its Game Boy Advance line-up for the remainder of 2001.

The company has pulled out all the stops, issuing Nintendo’s new handheld with only the finest of its games.

The games are:

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2
Spider-Man: Mysterio’s Menace
X-Men: Reign of Apocalypse
Shaun Palmer’s Pro Snowboarder
Matt Hoffman’s Pro BMX
Doom

The Doom title is the fruits of the many hours put in by brilliant UK handheld developers Crawfish Interactive and sees the company’s fantastic first person tech demo put to good use.

Doom for Game Boy Advance will run along the lines of the original and will make use of the machine’s shoulder buttons to allow players to strafe. It will also be link enabled allowing up to eight players to compete simultaneously.

At present there are no more details available as the entire Crawfish team is attending the Game Developer Conference in San Jose. They are then all off the Tokyo Game show, so we’ll collar them, jet-lagged or not next week.
