Brothers in Arms on Nintendo DS is finally out this week and it may well prove to be a surprise hit, particularly with those who were taken with the innovative touch-screen first-person-shooter controls first used in Nintendo’s own
Metroid Prime: Hunters.
Brothers in Arms DS also features some pretty impressive 3D graphics and a handy topdown view which is useful for ensuring your grenades obliterate "the filthy Hun"
† to smithereens.
The game also features local network multiplayer play (Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch); drivable vehicles such as a recon car or a Sherman Tank; a wide range of weapons such as bazookas, sniper rifles, grenades as well as impressively destructible environments, auto-cover behind walls and an auto-recovering life system specifically designed for DS play.
You can see what we mean by checking the game’s trailer right below this news.
† Take your irony pill now please. SPOnG realises that those previously known as “the filthy Hun” are now our best European buddies in the War On Error.
