Microsoft is offering the musically inclined among you the chance to get create "the ultimate Xbox game soundtrack" and win a 'chance' to record it in a real Hollywood studio surrounded by the kind of muso boffins who dress smart casual...
The winner gets the chance to lay down their track in a Universal Music studio. We're not entirely sure why the winner only gets 'the chance' to lay down their track, though. Maybe if you're too raaawk'n'roll or you've been tracked by the CIA in the 'War On Terror' so they won't let you into the country, or you're too nerdy for the cool raaawk kids...
Anyway, "To take part simply visit www.xbox.com/music, download the trailer, score your music and upload it back to the site. Entries shortlisted will be shown back on site from 6th June – 4th July so visitors can view and rate the tracks created. The winner will be announced on 11th July 2007."
