Nintendo’s UK Upcoming Releases: Full List!
Nintendo has released its first and third party release schedule running into the summer. SPOnG's got the goods for you to take a peek at.

The jump-out title on the list for the Wii is the console's first online game, Mario Strikers: Charged Football, which was just given an official release date yesterday. Notably absent, however, is Super Paper Mario. Since the game's due for release next week in the US you'd have thought 'Tendy might have gotten it out to us by the end of June.

DS owners get to look forward to Diddy Kong Racing DS, Wario: Master of Disguise and *ahem* Pokemon Ranger.

And GameCube owners get to look forward to... nothing. As with Nintendo's US release schedule there's nary a whiff of a GameCube title. It makes Nintendo's statement to SPOnG that they “... are continuing to produce GameCube hardware and software," look ever more difficult to believe, certainly in terms of new releases.

For Nintendo's full release schedule cast your eyes downwards.

The lack of GC games was gonna happen anyway, but I think the least Nintendo could do before they phase it out, is drop the GC games to about Ł10-15, so everyone can get rid of their stock.

Most of the GC games now, are turning into last console rites kiddy fodder as usual anyway. If Nintendo want GC to be budget then they should be price cutting but I don't see it.

I'm just glad I got my Freeloader, I'm keeping my GC cause I know there's more gaming gems on import out there to get. Anything else will be second hand for my GC.

Damn right, the GC is totally underrated. Same with DS in UK - the situation is crap in terms of releases - importing is the way forward.

If companies don't like importing, they should make it less favourable to do so, i.e. fair prices in all countries, smaller gaps between releases, etc. That's what I love about the DS.

Yeah I agree, I feel Nintendo will be happy to know some of us are still supporting our GCs via imports, as its money in their pocket they might not otherwise get. Shame I can't say the same attitude exists from Sony, but that isn't gonna stop me getting imports for mine.

If you look at the Dreamcast, its still getting games made for it in japan, so expect the same for GC. DS is also a godsend in this area and I can't wait for Ouendan 2.
