Well if you haven't seen the GTA IV trailer by now then we can only presume that you've only just woken up. Watch it immediately here.
If, as is more likely, you've seen it around 20 times and you've dissected and deconstructed it to death already then you may well have noticed the comparisons with the Francis Ford Coppola-produced classic time-lapse stoner movie, KOYAANISQATSI (a Hopi Indian word meaning "life out of balance) - an apocalyptic vision of the collision of two different worlds - urban life and technology versus the environment.
And if, like many here in the SPOnG office, you were thinking "what the hell is that?" then let us be the first to inform, educate and entertain you on the matter via the post-modern marvel that is the YouTube clip of the opening scenes of the movie, in which you can immediately see (and hear) the comparisons with the GTA IV trailer.
And if you're not as old in the tooth as (too) many of us are at SPOnG, then we have to mention that the movie, not to mention the trippy minimalist soundtrack by Phillip Glass, really is a must-watch.
Also check the latest GTA IV screens, err, sorry no, some screens from KOYAANISQATSI right here and below this news.
