Konami's
Castlevania: Symphony of Night will be hitting Xbox Live Arcade this Wednesday.
For those of you who were too busy being under the age of ten to remember this coming out in 1997, it's a fondly remembered RPG classic. It's the 12th entry into the
Castlevania series and puts gamers into the (no doubt beautiful) shoes of Dracula's foppish-looking son Alucard as he wanders around his Dad's house in 2D.
Symphony of Night will come equipped with enhanced graphics and sound as well as high definition support.
It's been a busy few weeks for
Castlevania, with
Portrait of Ruin having just graced the shelves for the DS. There's another handheld instalment on the way later this year, with
Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles headed for the PSP. Now all we need is a full-blooded next-gen offering...
Symphony of Night is available as of 9am on Wednesday and will set you back 800 Microsoft Points (just under £10).
