Back in a more innocent age (the 1980s) when selling a joystick entailed wrapping a fit looking lass around a chair and having said stick of joy in shot, a company called ‘Thrustmaster’ began selling peripherals to increase your gaming fun.

Thankfully in today’s colder, more corporate climate Thrustmaster is still going strong. In fact, it’s releasing a range of add-ons for that other brilliantly-named chunk of games’ magic: the Nintendo Wii.

Pictured to the right here is what Thrustmaster calls, ‘The Full Monty’, a £24.99 pack comprising two key items to enable your Wii’ing to continue unabated – and in a tidy fashion.

First up is the T-Care NW (£11.99), the company raves about it thus: “The T-Care NW storage stand takes care of the Wii Remote and a Nunchuk, with no wires left in your way. It slides discretely next to your console, completely blending into its environment, and thanks to its refined design this is the perfect matching accessory for your Wii.”

The SPOnG universal translator says, “This is a stand for your Wii remote and nanchuk. It keeps stuff tidy.”

Second in the pack is the T-Charge NW (£19.99). The company’s line:”This stand includes a charger for two rechargeable batteries (Nimh AA (R6) 1600 mah) at the back, which connects to your console’s USB port. You can play using two charged batteries, while at the same time recharging the two other included batteries, ensuring the fun never stops!”

The SPOnG universal translator says, “This is a recharger for your Wii remote. Excellent!”

The products are available from Thrustmaster
