Sony still sore over Oddworld turn-around
It is with a certain justifiable smugness that Microsoft announced that Munch’s Oddysee for the Xbox is nearly complete.
The title was destined for the PlayStation 2, but a bit of canny Microsoft wrangling secured the game as an Xbox exclusive. The deal was secured at such a late stage, it meant embarrassment for Sony, as the company had sent out a pamphlet to everyone featuring Munch. Doh!
The game will be the first ever 3D Oddworld title and will feature all the general nastiness of the original.
