After a four-day delay Real Time Worlds'
Crackdown demo is finally due to go live tomorrow. The demo will be available via Xbox Live Arcade as of 10am GMT.
The demo was delayed, not hitting its scheduled January 18th release date, due to its certification process taking longer than expected. Microsoft Game Studios is reporting that the full version of the game is now good to go, having gone gold last week.
The demo will drop players into one of Pacific City's four gang-controlled territories for some co-op super-powered crime-busting.
Microsoft is reporting high pre-orders of
Crackdown, claiming (somewhat predictably) that excitement is mounting. While the game itself is one of the first major AAA-titles of 2007, SPOnG can't help but wonder if the high numbers of pre-orders have anything to do with the guaranteed access to the
Halo 3 Beta purchasers of
Crackdown will get. Call us cynics, but, you know....
