Yep, that's right. Everyone’s favourite NES classic, Super Mario Bros has just hopped, skipped and jumped up onto Wii’s Virtual Console today, so you might want to consider parting with your hard-earned 500 Wii Points later today in exchange for some pure, nostalgic retro-gaming joy.
If you are still a bit confused about this whole Wii Points business, you can buy 2,000 Wii Points cards in stores for £14.99, so 500 equates to around £3.75. Think of it as little more (or even a bit less) than the price of a standard pint of lager in ‘that London’.
There is one other title released today Motoroader, a Turbografix-16 racer, priced at 600 Wii Points. But who really cares about that when SMB NES is on offer?
Make sure to check in each Friday morning for SPOnG’s ‘Thank Nintendo it’s Friday!’ Virtual Console update.
