When Sega announced it would be developing games for other company’s platforms everyone assumed they were talking about new games for SP2, Xbox and Gameboy Advance. But they recently shocked the world by announcing that they would be dusting down quality titles from their massive back catalogue and even releasing some of them on PSOne.

This information comes straight from Sega of America and even though it is surprising, it is also good news for the millions of Playstation owners who never had the opportunity to play exclusive Saturn titles. That’s all going to change. Sega Rally and Panzer Dragoon 2 could soon be available on the PSOne. Best news of all, Sega intend the Saturn ports to be released at a budget price of around £20.

Sega has also reaffirmed its commitment to the Game Boy Advance. In addition to releasing Chu Chu Rocket and Sonic Advance, Sega intends to port popular Mega Drive titles to the handheld. This bold approach will bring a superb back catalogue of titles to the highly anticipated portable. Sensible Soccer Advance? Could be?
