Contact – Much Heralded DS RPG Slips into 2007

In Europe, at least

Posted by Staff
Slightly disappointing news for fans of handheld role-playing games today, with the Euro release of Marvellous Interactive/Rising Star’s critically acclaimed Contact slipping to February 2007.

Martin Defries, COO, Rising Star Games said: “Contact is an amazing title for the DS and we’re hopeful that the extra stock we’ll have available will address the demand for such a unique game. My advice to gamers? Save your money and make contact with Contact just after Christmas.”

Alternatively of course, should you not be able to wait a couple of extra months for your handheld role-playing fix, you could always shell out a few extra quid and buy it on import from the States.

Indeed on the importing, I have to say I rarely buy u.k ds games because we always get them late. I'm an englishman and there's nothing else I hate than waiting on a game while it gets translated into other eu languages. Stuff that.

I still feel £30 is a steep for a ds game, so I look online. While Contact is on my list I feel Magical Vacation and more so Final Fantasy III are top of my list.
