I love it. They are expecting to sell more copies of ps3 games than the number of available ps3's. While nintendo will have in excess of 1 million units available at launch the claimed sell through numbers for ps3 games tend to be much higher. This is not to mention that ps3 games will cost at least $10-15 more than the wii games and the console itself will cost more than twice as much.

I really cannot wait to see the wake up call sony will be having for itself and its software developers after christmas. I am doubting that sony will get the 500,000 out of the door on launch day. And of those that do make it out...how many of them will be failing out of the box.

We shouldnt underestimate the public loyalty that will get PS3 sales. Things will be different this time and March is way off yet.

I reckon a lot of people will try out a Wii for something different, the price is tempting enough for an xmas purchase.

Shouldn't be long til those Wii ads start hitting our tv screens.

I think the PS3 has a much better launch lineup.
I mean overall. The Wii has some essential stuff and a lot of filler by the looks of it.
I'm not sure if I'll buy a Wii at launch now.
I may hold off for a while. I think it more likely every day that if I want to play the new Zelda (and I do) I'll have to do it on Wii and never on the GC.
And I'm not really too happy about that.

I must say I like the way the Wii launch lineup looks...theres a nice selection of games of a more mature appeal, as opposed to the sterotypical Nintendo fare. Massive Irie Kudos to teh big N for resurrecting the bundled game.

I will say that I see VERY few compelling exclusives for either, the PS3 in particular. This is particularly curious given the outrageous price for the system and MS' early start. PlayStation brand loyalty is whats gonna move these, as I see it.
