Chairman of Sega Worldwide, Isao Okawa has made a massive 32.7 billion Yen donation to the beleaguered multinational video games company. In an unprecedented move Mr Okawa, who was the largest outstanding shareholder in Sega retaining a massive 12.5%, has yielded his entire share to the markets. This move indicates the Okawa has resigned as chairman of Sega.
Sega has stated that the company will make a decision as to how to utilise the donation, dependent on the effect it will have on the Japanese market
