For those Grand Theft Auto freaks who, like SPOnG, cannot wait for the next in the series, the appearance of GTA: Liberty City Stories – due out this month on PS2 – is one that's more than welcome.
Check out these latest screens and the first trailer of the game right here:
MPEG4 XviD (3.4MB)
Windows Media (3.4MB)
The game is most definitely worth a look if you haven’t yet played the PSP version and, for many hardened GTA fanboys, is quite probably worth a look even if you
have already shot and stolen your way through the handheld version of the game.
In Liberty City Stories, you play as new boy Tony Cipriani. The game boasts a whole new plot, plus new characters, missions and vehicles not seen before on previous home console outings in the series.
What’s even more appealing is the fact that, when it's released on June 23, the game will go on sale at a mid-range £19.99 price-point
For those who have played the PSP version and can’t wait for the next helping of handheld GTA guns, gore and gaming goodness, then we're afraid you're just going to have to. Wait, that is. The next PSP outing in the series, GTA: Vice City Stories, is due in six months time.
