3DO Europe Signs with IQ Media Nordic AB
3DO Europe today announces that it has a new partner for distribution in its Nordic territories.
IQ Pan Interactive will take over the exclusive distribution of all of 3DO's titles, except for its Nintendo catalogue. The deal took immediate effect upon being signed.
3DO Europe is therefore set to benefit from the newly formed IQ Pan Interactive, created from a merger between IQ Media and KF Media subsidiary Pan Interactive. The resulting company is currently the largest player in the e-entertainment market and aims to build on IQ Media's previous games distribution experience to become the leading supplier of interactive entertainment in Europe.
"We looked to partner 3DO Europe with an aggressive distribution company in the Nordic territories and the newly merged IQ Pan Interactive fits the bill perfectly," offered Rob McGrath, European Sales Director at 3DO Europe. "IQ Pan Interactive is setting its sights on becoming Europe's leading supplier of e-entertainment for portals, interactive TV channels and players in the broadband market. The new company will be prepared for a separate stock-exchange listing within 18 months. 3DO Europe always looks to form partnerships with companies that we feel mirror our own attitude: we are young and ambitious and are looking to dominate the market with our core brands.
